Kensingtons application refused
08th June 2009
As expected, the Development Control Committee followed the recommendation of the planning department and refused Kensington's application.
This decision will now be forwarded to the Inspector who was to have decided the appeal.
As the application has now been 'called in' by the Secretary of State, the Inspector will write a report for the appropriate Decision Branch of the Planning Inspectorate who will make the final decision.
Somewhere along the line, a public enquiry should be held. Hopefully, all those who objected should be informed of when and where, but I will let everyone know as soon as I do.
