House of Commons Select Committee on Environmental Audit - Report 28-Oct-08

23rd February 2009
By Graham Olley.

The Goverment have published a report which questions the validity of the Government's target for 3 million new homes by 2020. This report could change the way local councils are allocating land for development purposes and seems to be going some way in our favour, whilst alleviating the Councils pressure to build on greenfeild sites. This information was kindly forwarded to me by John Westmoreland, Secretary of the Fylde branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE)
